A note on the configuration of the digital ecosystem in Latin America

چکیده
We evaluate the main characteristics of digital ecosystem North American (USA and Canada) 16 Latin economies for 2019. By employing ‘benefit doubt’ model rooted in non-parametric techniques to scrutinize a composite indicator designed assess (i.e., Digital Platform Economy (DPE) index), analysis allows computation endogenous (country-specific) weights that can be used developing more informed policy making. The results show countries prioritize different aspects their which confirms that, contrary homogeneous prescription, tailor-made is desirable approach if objective optimize resources deployed enhance countries’ ecosystem.
